Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan, lauded the resilience of Pakistanis who are working abroad on Tuesday. He stated that these overseas Pakistanis are contributing to the economy of the country through remittances and thanked them.
Imran Khan made these comments during an inauguration ceremony for introducing a system that would allow overseas Pakistanis to transfer these remittances through Pakistan Post. Regarding this project, he said that “Pakistan Post was in sheer loss earlier, now it has been greatly reduced”.
Prime Minister also said that it is the government’s primary task to make life easy for Pakistanis working abroad because these people had to settle outside since their home country was unable to provide them with conducive opportunities.
He then announced health cards for the families of overseas Pakistanis and said, “Whenever I speak of new Pakistan, it is about the new approach”. He added that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has tried to stabilize the economy of Pakistan.
